Casino Interac exists to explain one thing properly: why a casino holds your money, and how to tell the difference between an ordinary control and an operator behaving badly.

Desmond Achebe spent eleven years in fraud operations at a Toronto payment processor, the last four running the team that reviewed flagged deposits and chargebacks. That is an unusual route into writing about gambling and it is the reason this site exists. The overwhelming majority of complaints about these operators concern withheld money, and the overwhelming majority of those turn out to be a standard control doing exactly what it was designed to do.

How the rankings are decided. Own money, from a real Canadian account, into every site. A withdrawal request from each one whether the session went well or badly. And a record of whether the operator told us which control was running and how long it would take — because that disclosure costs nothing and separates a business that respects you from one that does not.

What we will not do. No scores out of ten: compressing a rich signal into one number is how bad decisions get made, and a cashier deserves better than an average. No invented licence numbers. No payout time published as a benchmark from a single transaction, because one observation is an anecdote. And no ranking for sale — third place on our main page carries the smallest headline offer in the top five.
